What To Expect At Your Visit

Increased insight into how your thoughts, feelings and behaviors are connected.


By focusing on a shift in awareness, you will experience increased insight into how your thoughts, feelings and behaviors are connected.  

Using proven techniques in cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness-based stress reduction, I'll work collaboratively with you to challenge unproductive thoughts, change unhealthy patterns/habits and help manage emotional distress. In therapy, you will learn to develop a holistic approach to mental health and wellness, aimed to  overcome difficulties, improve relationships and your self-worth, while increasing motivation towards impactful change.

We'll strive to maximize joy, increase feelings of positivity and your personal well being.  By developing and utilizing your copings skills, you can expect to handle life's difficulties with more ease and clarity, and allow you to get back to your center.

Group Therapy

 Building Self Esteem and Reducing Anxiety, which takes place Saturday mornings from 11:00-12:15 In Park Slope. New Group Starting September 24th, 2022. 

Mindfulness: An Introduction to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy,  which takes place on Tuesdays 12:00-1:00 pm. New Group Starting September 20th, 2022.

 The Sunday Scaries: Reducing Work Anxiety which takes place Sunday evenings from 7:00-8:15 pm. New Group Starting Septembe 25th, 2022

The Fourth Trimester: Discovering Yourself in Motherhood 

Wednesday Morning 11:00-12:00 pm

Psychotherapy is a powerful tool for growth. In therapy, we will work collaboratively to address areas of concern that brought you into treatment. Together, we will process difficulties in your life which have caused distress and find solutions to a happier, healthier you. Using proven techniques in cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness  we will work to challenge unproductive thoughts, manage your emotions, and change unhealthy habits.  By exploring thoughts, feelings and behaviors, you can develop and utilize coping skills to help you overcome any negativity.
