8 week group starting April 7th, 2021 this group will focus on the nine most common cognitive distortions and how to overcome that type of thinking. All or nothing thinking, overgeneralizing, disqualifying the positive, jumping to conclusions, catastrophising, emotional reasoning, 'should' thinking, labeling and personalization will all be defined and members will be given an exercise regarding each distortion and how it relates to their behavior.
Weekly group consists of:
-3-7 minute meditation
-Exercise on 1-2 distortions per week
-Group Reflection
-Closing thoughts
